We're easily accessible by road and rail:
There are direct rail links between Lancaster and London, Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, Oxford and major cities in Scotland. Ludus Dance is just a 5-minute walk from Lancaster Railway Station.
Exit the train station, turn left and walk along Station Road. At the top of Station Road, turn left again onto Westbourne Road. Continue over the railway bridge, past the front entrance to the station, and continue down Meeting House Lane until you reach Merchants pub on your left. Cross at the pedestrian crossing towards the Post Office and head down the road (towards the major road junction), past the Royal Kings Arms on your right to the corner. At the corner, turn right past the front of Waterstones bookshop. In about 100m you will see the Assembly Rooms main entrance on your left and, to the right of this, a purple door – this is the entrance to Ludus Dance.
Leave the M6 motorway at junction 33 and follow the A6 north towards Lancaster for approximately 5 miles. On approaching the city centre, remain on the A6 to join the one-way system – this will take you along King Street. Ludus Dance is located in the historic Assembly Rooms building, which is on the left-hand side of the road, immediately after the beautiful ‘Penny’s Hospital’ Almshouses with their arched entrance. There are no bays in which to stop or park in King Street and most of Lancaster City Centre is pay and display or permit parking only. Please use one of the nearby car parks listed below.
