Young People 5-18 Years

Taking part in regular dance lessons can give children improved physical health, flexibility and stamina, and better balance and co-ordination. At Ludus Dance, our session tutors understand that it's more than that too. Dancing with us can help with social and communication skills, and help your child work as part of a team, gain in confidence and make new friends.

Young people can also develop their arts knowledge, creative and communication skills with the Arts Award, which is useful when looking for further education and job opportunities.

‘We act out stuff in dancing. We were different animals like lions, warthogs, chimpanzees, rhinos and baboons. Before I come to Ludus Dance, I always get excited about seeing my friends and I like to learn new things. I dream about being a dancer when I'm grown up.”

Bella, (aged 6)

‘I've been doing street dance at Ludus Dance for two years. I used to be quite shy when I started but now I'm not shy at all. I like to help new people to make sure they feel ok too. It's made me a better dancer and it's really, really, really fun.”

Nate, (aged 8)
