A New Era for Ludus Dance
Ludus Dance opens doors to inspire and engage people in dance.
From 2012, our work will focus on developing and delivering dance development work across Lancashire.
Our Dance Development work includes a rich programme of community projects; weekly Dance Classes in our Lancaster studio; training and advice. We work with all ages across a range of groups, including people with special needs, youth groups, and elders in residential care, amongst others.
We provide progression routes for young people through our various classes and groups, as well as the flagship Ludus Youth Dance Company, the North West region’s flagship youth dance company.
From July 2011, in line with our mission to build a robust and sustainable future for Ludus Dance, the touring strand of the company will unfortunately close, after 36 fantastic years of inspiring and engaging young people and first-time dance audiences.
It is important to note that our Dance Classes and Dance Development work continue as normal.
