Today marks the start of our Commotion Summer School.  We have classes with a 'twist' for adults, children and toddlers!  Some commotion classes have already sold out - so if you're thinking of coming along give us a call before hand or check availability online.  You'll also save money by booking in advance too!  Full details on our range of classes are listed below.

Classes for Adults. (18 yrs +)

Monday 21st July (7-9pm)
Musical Theatre (CATS) with Kat Irving
Andrew Lloyd Webber's CATS, the most famous musical of all time. You'll be learning routines such Magical Mistoffelees, Macavity and the Jellicle Ball - more intoxicating and magical than you can ever imagine!

Tuesday 22nd July (7-9pm)
Contact Contemporary with Holly Warren and Andrea Frisch
Develop your skills of working with others and your own body through contact improvisation a dance form in which the point of contact with another dancer provides the starting point for a movement exploration. It is most frequently performed as a duet, but can be danced by more people. It is about sharing weight, rolling, suspending, falling, passive and active, energy and awareness.

Flamenco with Guest Tutor Natalie Hirst [ SOLD OUT. ]

Thursday 24th July (7-9pm)
Stone The Crows Morris Team
We just can't get enough of this border morris team based in Leyland! Following the workshop there will be a social at the Water Witch in Lancaster, so you can enjoy a well-earned drink and watch the Morris Men and women perform - a perfect way to end our commotion Summer school!

Mini Movers
10am - 11am (18 - 36 mths)  £3.50 each *
A creative playtime with dance and music.  For parents and their little ones  - we get creative with our bodies and minds!

Junior Movers
This class will use our bodies to boogie and our imaginations to take us on adventures, dancing about stories and themes.

Monday 28th July
High School Musical
Come and dance like your favourite characters in the fabulous film. Learn similar routines and create some dances together – fun, cheesy and fabulous – bring a friend!  (Includes the basketball dance).

Tuesday 29th July
Cheerleading
Come along and join in the cheerleading fun!  We will be learning routines, making up our own and even making some pom poms!

Create your own Pop Video
Create the routine and then be a music video director. Filming and editing equipment will be provided so you can take home your DVD.
