Apply to join the 2008/2009 Youth Dance Company
The Ludus Youth Dance Company (LYDC) is comprised of young talented dancers who are auditioned annually. Many of the dancers come from our 13 youth dance groups that run across the county and they join together to represent the flagship youth dance company for the county of Lancashire.
The company create work and rehearse monthly, working alongside Ludus Dance Artists and resident choreographers. The rehearsals are usually held at the weekend once a month at Ludus Dance in Lancaster. There are also more intensive rehearsals when the company works with visiting choreographers to make new and exciting dance pieces. These sessions usually run for about 2 - 4 days and take place in school holidays, weekends and half term breaks.
