More Information on the Ludus Youth Dance Company
There are many fantastic opportunities open to the LYDC such as performances and trips within the county and nationally. Past performances have been at The Nuffield in Lancaster, Charter Theatre Preston, The Brewery Arts Centre Kendal, The Bridgewater Hall Manchester, Durham Gala Theatre,The Yorkshire Playhouse Leeds, The Lowery Manchester and the Royal Festival Hall London.
Previous choreographers that have worked with LYDC are: Bettina Strickler (Protein), Lisi Perry (Collision), Stuart Waters (Motionhouse), Filip Van Huffell (Retina), Mark Murphy (VTol), Leon Hazlewood, Kerry Nicholls, Kate Mason and of course, Ludus Dance.
The Youth Dance Company also have the opportunity to be involved in youth exchanges. Durham Youth Dance Group, Dance City Youth Dance Company and a youth exchange with a Bulgarian group have all been enlightening experiences for past company members.
How to join the Youth Dance Company
- Please download and fill out an application form.
- If your selected you'll be invited to an audition on 5th July at UCLAN's Media Factory: Preston.

Ludus Dance will not be holding further auditions / recalls on any other date.
