Dance Cuts 2010: a dance platform for North West dancers, dance-makers and choreographers
Are you an emerging dance artist? Are you creating work in the North West?
If so, do not miss this opportunity to present your work to a panel of dance professionals. Alongside a range of workshops, performances and discussion, places are available for emerging choreorgraphers to show their work to the Dance Cuts panel. The panel, comprised of Desiree Cherrington from ACE NW, Yael Flexer and Company Chameleon will offer feedback on short exerpts of work presented in an informal studio performance.
Places will be given on a first come, first served basis.
The Dance Cuts programme
This weekend dance event launches with Turn Out (Sat 24th April), featuring performance highlights from Green Room Manchester's 2009 Turn Festival and a Q&A with the performers.
On Sunday 25th April, we have a jam-packed programme of events: young artists can take part in workshops, perform short extracts of their work to a professional panel, as well as find out what it takes to make it in the world of dance. In the evening, starting at 8pm, the Dance Cuts Platform showcases a fantastic range of dance film, installation and contemporary choreography from the North West.
If you are interested in creating your own work, learning more about developing as a professional artists or simply want to see the best of the new work created in the North West, do not miss the Dance Cuts weekend!
From 8pm on Sat 24th April and all day on Sunday 25th April

- Both nights: £15/£10 concessions.
- Individual night: £10/£7 concessions.
