This teaching pack has been produced alongside the Ludus Dance Touring Company's production of CONSEQUENCES. This pack is designed primarily for teachers in schools.

This Resource Pack is to be used to promote further learning in both Dance and Citizenship. The pack offers four lessons within a Scheme of Work at each of the Key Stages 2, 3 and 4. The second section of the pack offers user-friendly activities to promote discussion around themes and issues linked to consequences, again key stage specific.

The pack focuses on a 'competency curriculum', highlighting the 'Personal Learning and Thinking Skills' at KS3 and 4 and the 'Essentials for Learning and Life' at KS2. Reference: National Curriculum 2010.

Get Set and Dance! Disc 1

Whilst travelling the length and breadth of the UK, our highly experienced dancers have asked you what kind of resource you need to help with your dance teaching. You said you need more movement material and ideas, practically demonstrated, with hot teaching tips including some guidance on technical performance. Get Set and Dance! offers you all these things in an easy-to-follow layout that enables you to select for your Key Stage; to refer to other Key Stages for more material, and to see examples of progression.

Get Set and Dance! was created and devised by the Ludus Touring Dancer/Teachers. Packed full of ideas and energy, this DVD will help kick-start some creative ideas on how to teach dance, whether experienced or just starting out.

Disc 2 contains a professionally filmed performance of the Ludus Dance show TRAPPED, choreographed and directed by Rosie Kay.
