Dance Journalist
This could involve working on a freelance basis as a dance critic for national newspapers, or for dance publications such as The Dancing Times or Dance Theatre Journal. Some dance journalists have completed a dance degree, or may have a general interest in the arts and have a degree in English or other subject and then choose to specialise in dance. Particular skills relevant to journalism can be learnt on an industry approved course. Visit the National Council for the Training of Journalists www.nctj.com for more information on these courses.
