Ludus Youth Dance Company

The Flagship North West Youth Dance Company (14-25yrs)

Ludus Youth Dance Company is auditioned annually from talented young dancers from the North West of England. The dancers undertake a year-long programme of training with Ludus Dance during which they devise three performance pieces and undertake a regional tour. The current company is aged between 14 and 21 years and represents Lancashire, Cumbria and Manchester.

Attracting young dancers from across the North West

This year's youth dance company members travel from all across Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Cumbria and Cheshire to be part of the North West region's flagship youth dance company.

Creating opportunities for young people

Ludus Dance have supported and encouraged the young dancers to get involved in all areas of dance, and in October 2010, two of the company members were selected to be Youth Ambassadors for the Lancashire Dance Forum, an exciting opportunity for both dancers. Two other members were also recently selected as Youth Dance England 'Young Creatives'.
