Performance Opportunities
There are many fantastic opportunities open to the LYDC such as performances and trips within the county and nationally.
Past performances have been at
- The Nuffield in Lancaster,
- Charter Theatre Preston,
- The Brewery Arts Centre Kendal,
- The Bridgewater Hall Manchester,
- Durham Gala Theatre,
- The Yorkshire Playhouse Leeds,
- The Lowry Manchester
- and the Royal Festival Hall London.
The Youth Dance Company also have the opportunity to be involved in youth exchanges. Durham Youth Dance Group, Dance City Youth Dance Company and a youth exchange with a Bulgarian group have all been enlightening experiences for past company members.
